Declan Bradley

Dr Declan Bradley is a public health consultant and academic with experience in the technical, social and ethical aspects of public health. His portfolio includes the use of data science, behavioural science and complexity science to reduce health inequalities and improve health. His role as public health medicine consultant is mainly as an epidemiologist and medical informatician, working with routine healthcare data to deliver intelligence for health protection and healthcare improvement. Dr Bradleys' research focus is on complex connections between health, behaviour, environment and policy, and how to influence these. He is currently seconded to the Northern Ireland Department of Health as Interim Deputy Chief Scientific Adviser, which involves advising Ministers on Covid-19 science.
