Education Wales
This dataset includes schools and pupil data for Wales which cover state funded learning centres. It contains information from the pupil level annual school census and the Welsh Examinations Database. This describes learning centres, outcomes for learners, special educational needs, attendance summary (prior to 2020), and free school meals.
Component datasets and linkage
Attendance data in Education Wales was discontinued after 2019 and the Education Daily Attendance Dataset schema replaced it.

Containing billions of person-based records, SAIL Databank is a rich and trusted population databank. Information about policy research priorities
The EDUW dataset is being used by Welsh Government and ADR Wales academics to deliver research projects that address strategic priorities in the Wellbeing of Future Generations Act, the Programme for Government, and inputs into the Curriculum for Wales Evaluation plan.
