ADR Scotland webinar: Advancing policy-relevant social science through administrative data

This webinar will explore how investments across the UK, and particularly through ADR Scotland, are expanding access to and use of linked administrative data for social science research.

Presenters will discuss how administrative data offers powerful opportunities to understand the challenges facing society and how developing evidence that informs policy and practice. 

They will highlight the advantages and limitations of administrative data, how it creates opportunities for both quantitative and qualitative researchers, and the new possibilities it opens for policy-relevant insights. 

The session will include Professor Iain Atherton presenting on an evolving project that uses administrative data to explore the dynamics of the UK nursing and midwifery professions, illustrating how this work can enhance both professional wellbeing and public benefit.
