Introducing the UK’s linked administrative data resources
ADR UK, in partnership with the UK Statistics Authority (UKSA), is piloting a series of workshops to raise awareness of the wealth of linked administrative datasets available for public-good research across the UK.
These free workshops may take place in-person or online. Each session will be designed to meet the needs and interests of the relevant host research organisation. Events will typically include:
-
a brief introduction to administrative data, data linkage, and the ADR UK partnership including its network of trusted research environments
-
an overview of the ADR UK linked datasets, their related resources, and the funding ADR UK is making available to support their use
-
an overview from the Office for National Statistics (ONS) or UKSA on how to access data held within the ONS Secure Research Service
-
a case-study from a researcher using an ADR UK linked administrative dataset to give a flavour of its research potential.
There will also be time for discussion and Q&A.
If your research organisation is interested in hosting an event like this, please email emily.oliver@esrc.ukri.org for more information.
