About the roadshow
ADR UK is keen to share information and inspire researchers to make more use of the rich administrative and other datasets available for their research. In recent years we have facilitated webinars and workshops in universities across the country attracting hundreds of students.
These free events showcase opportunities for cross-cutting research using linked administrative datasets and other ESRC data resources such as smart data (data generated through engagement with digital systems, devices and sensors) and survey data. They are suitable for any researcher interested in secondary data analysis, particularly but not limited to early career researchers.
Roadshow events are organised jointly between the host organisation and ADR UK. They can be held online or in person. Typically, an online webinar might last 90 minutes and cover:
-
an overview of administrative and other data available
-
information about data access including the legal gateways
-
a presentation from a researcher currently using this data.
We encourage questions and discussion to support learning by the participants.

Subject to availability, you can choose from a menu of items to build your own roadshow event.
