The techniques taught through the Advanced Analysis of Linked Health Data course are relevant and applicable to any domain researchers who use administrative and social care data.
Research using routinely collected data has evolved. This course will provide social scientists with the skills to generate deeper insights into how social and administrative data, which when linked together with health data, can unlock multidisciplinary discoveries that address broad societal challenges.
Learners will have the opportunity to grow their knowledge of policy-relevant datasets, the unique requirements of accessing data through trusted research environments (TREs), and real-world data science techniques to efficiently analyse data for impactful outputs. Learners will have the option to attend the lectures online or in person.
