Northern Ireland Statistics and Research Agency Conference: Future Proofing Northern Ireland Business Data for Research

This one day conference, hosted by Northern Ireland Statistics and Research Agency (NISRA), will mark the launch of the new Northern Ireland Business Data for Research (BDR) database.
This promises to be an important event which will include presentations from NISRA and the Department for the Economy (DfE) Northern Ireland along with accredited researchers from the eight research teams who have engaged as early users of the data. The research presentations will explore topics such as the key factors associated with disability pay gaps, the drivers to productivity, and the impact of trade and technology on growth in Northern Ireland.
Format of the event: Taking place in person, participants will have the opportunity to take part in a Q&A session, closing with a round table session focused on emerging themes, existing data gaps and future research needs for evidence-based policy making. This is a valuable networking opportunity for researchers, policy makers and interested parties from the community and voluntary sector to maximise the value of the BDR and to shape the future of business data research in NI.
