This is an in-person workshop delivered by the South East Network for Social Sciences (SeNSS) Doctoral Training Partnership (DTP) and ADR UK. The sessions will introduce academics and students to ADR UK’s work and highlight the linked administrative datasets available for research. They will also inform researchers about how they can access these datasets, the research potential of the data, and what other resources are available to support their use.

It will provide those new to the data with an overview of its constituent datasets, plus exemplar research projects, tips from expert users, and opportunities to ask questions. The UCL Centre for Education Policy and Equalising Opportunities (CEPEO) are offering this training opportunity in partnership with ADR UK.

This ADR UK Researcher Symposium will bring together researchers working on a range of topics, from the experiences of people with severe mental illness, to ethnic inequalities in the justice system. Speakers will share their findings and explore what research using public sector data can tell us about inequalities in our society, and how these inequalities might be connected.
