It will establish the next generation of Trusted Research Environments (TREs) that will enable fast and efficient sharing, linkage and advanced analysis of data, where it is legal and ethical to do so.

Data has been fundamental to the UK’s response to the Covid-19 pandemic and as the UK moves out of the critical phase into recovery, there is a need to ensure that investments being made in data research infrastructures are joined-up, impactful and support research at scale.

About this event

To launch the first Design and Dialogue phase, Health Data Research UK and ADR UK invite you to join UKRI trusted and connected data and analytics research environments - collaborative design and dialogue to hear more about the programme, ask questions and find out how to get involved.

There will also be an opportunity to hear about the planned sprint projects, which aim to uncover and test early thinking, develop potential use cases and technical feasibility of a UK-wide data research infrastructure.

The event is aimed at colleagues across the UK research community, research institutes, funders and members of the public.

Chaired by Caroline Cake, CEO of Health Data Research UK, speakers include Dr Emma Gordon, Director ADR UK and Hans-Erik Aronson, Programme Director.
