A new Data Insight from ADR Wales researchers explores how linked data can improve cancer prevention and treatment outcomes by identifying inequalities in screening participation. The study assessed the feasibility of integrating cancer service data - such as screening and diagnosis records - with administrative datasets in the Secure Anonymised Information Linkage (SAIL) Databank.
The Office for National Statistics (ONS) has provided dates for when it will replace the Research Accreditation Service. Important information has been sent to accredited researchers and users of the Secure Research Service and the Integrated Data Service, prior to the Research Accreditation Service closing on Friday 4 April.

The UK Government has pledged to create a National Data Library to “bring together existing research programmes and help deliver data-driven public services, whilst maintaining strong safeguards and ensuring all of the public benefit”.
