As part of Love Data Week, taking place from 12 to 16 February, ADR UK is showcasing a selection of high-impact projects from across the partnership on our social media. These highlight the importance of linked administrative data research to driving real-world, public good impact across a range of sectors and themes.
22 PhD studentships supported by ADR UK have now commenced. Hosted by supervisors across 13 of the Economic and Social Research Council (ESRC) Doctoral Training Partnerships (DTPs),these students will access the full breadth of ADR UK flagship datasets to conduct quantitative research and answer policy-relevant research questions.
Harriet Baird, Engagement Lead for ADR Scotland partner the Scottish Centre for Administrative Data Research, discusses learnings from their children’s engagement pilot and, importantly, how to embed these across ADR UK.
The Public Engagement in Data Research Initiative (PEDRI) has launched a pilot campaign to raise awareness of the public benefits of data research. ‘Your Data in Action’ will share information with new families about how research using public data can make a difference to their lives, and those of their children. ADR UK is a co-founding member of PEDRI.
