The Northern Ireland Statistics and Research Agency (NISRA) is now receiving applications from accredited researchers to use the Education Outcomes Linkage (EOL) 2018/19-2021/22 dataset for research in the public interest. The EOL 2018/19-2021/22 is an update to the previously available version (EOL 2018/19) and includes three years of additional data. NISRA is part of ADR Northern Ireland.

New R code for is available for cleaning the children’s social care (CSC) datasets included in the National Pupil Database. This code was developed by the ECHILD (Education and Child Health Insights from Linked Data) team. It is freely available to access via GitHub.
A report from researchers at the Scottish Centre for Administrative Data Research (SCADR) and the Centre for Excellence for Children’s Care and Protection (CELCIS) has provided new insights into the experiences of children growing up in kinship care in Scotland. The study, the first of its kind, linked multiple data sources – including the Looked After Children Longitudinal dataset, health visit data, and child protection records – to explore the lives of more than 19,000 children in kinship care from 2008 to 2019. SCADR is part of ADR Scotland.
