ADR UK’s mission relies on a growing network of engagement across different sectors, to ensure the full public good potential of administrative data is realised. As part of this year's annual report, we looked back at some of the activities we've carried out to make this happen.
Last month, Dr Saba Mir, ADR UK’s Senior Manager for Strategic Research & Capacity Building, and Eleanor Collard, Communications & Engagement Officer, attended the 2024 Royal Economic Society Annual Conference. Taking place at Queen’s University Belfast (part of ADR Northern Ireland), the event attracted more than 500 attendees from a range of disciplines and career stages across the globe. The Office for National Statistics (ONS) Research Excellence Series has returned for 2024. The series is a yearly programme of online events which showcases outstanding research using data. This year, the ONS has invited presenters from the ADR UK Conference 2023 to speak about their research projects.
The footage from the ADR UK Conference 2023 is now available to view. The conference, held in November 2023 in partnership with the Office for National Statistics (ONS), brought together almost 400 delegates in Birmingham to exchange knowledge and ideas.
