The event served as an inspiring platform for PhD students from diverse research areas to exchange ideas and share insights, fostering meaningful collaborations across disciplines.
The Office for Statistics Regulation (OSR) is providing a placement opportunity to improve the way OSR regulates official statistics across the UK statistical system, by creating greater accountability for government departments to comply with the intelligent transparency principles. The project seeks to develop a monitoring and reporting approach for intelligent transparency, which will be summarised in a report. Applications for the opportunity will close on 31 October.
As part of leading the ADR Wales Social Care programme, Social Care Wales is now offering a PhD placement opportunity. This is open to PhD students studying social care at a Welsh higher education institution, providing practical experience in real-world social care research. Social Care Wales is a Welsh Government-sponsored body which registers and sets standards for social workers and social care workers in Wales.

Hosted by supervisors across 13 of the Economic and Social Research Council (ESRC) Doctoral Training Partnerships (DTPs),these students will access the full breadth of ADR UK flagship datasets to conduct quantitative research and answer policy-relevant research questions.
