We are delighted to share the ADR UK Annual Report 2023 – 2024. Following a year of ambitious projects and significant progress, the report rounds up some key highlights across the ADR UK partnership. This year, ADR UK agreed on the priorities and activities for the final two years of the current investment period, which runs until March 2026. Public good has remained at the core of our work, and this year’s report highlights the potential of recent developments to improve people’s lives.

ADR UK is funding the ADR England Public Insights Panel to further support meaningful public engagement across ADR England and beyond. Jointly managed by Basis Social, an independent social insights agency, and the ADR UK Strategic Hub, the panel will convene regularly to inform ADR UK’s research. Guests can also apply to engage with the panel.

In this blog, Elizabeth Nelson and Dr Sarah McKenna look back on two years of working with a group of care experienced young people and reflect on what they have learned so far. Elizabeth is Public Engagement, Communications and Impact Manager and Sarah is a Research Fellow, both based at the Administrative Data Research Centre Northern Ireland (ADRC NI).

Two new projects will collect insights on the perspectives of data owners and providers, and the public, about synthetic data. The projects will focus on low-fidelity synthetic data to explore its potential benefits, costs and utility to administrative data research.
