ADR UK is delighted to announce the launch of a new podcast, “Connecting Society: How everyday data shapes our lives”, with the first episode available on all major streaming platforms. This podcast aims to bring the world of administrative data to life, demonstrate transparency and trustworthiness, and provide a better understanding of how data can serve the public good.

ADR UK is very pleased to announce the latest dataset available for accredited researchers to apply to access via the Office for National Statistics (ONS) Secure Research Service. The new, Annual Survey of Hours and Earnings (ASHE) linked to PAYE (Pay as You Earn) and Self-Assessment dataset, covers England, Scotland and Wales.

UK Research and Innovation (UKRI) has allocated £18.2 million for Phase 2 of the Data Analytics and Research Environments UK (DARE UK) programme. Taking place over 2.5 years, this phase will strengthen trusted research environments across the UK, better enabling approved researchers to securely access sensitive data for public good research. ADR UK and Health Data Research UK will continue to oversee the management and delivery of the programme.

We are delighted to share the ADR UK Annual Report 2023 – 2024. Following a year of ambitious projects and significant progress, the report rounds up some key highlights across the ADR UK partnership. This year, ADR UK agreed on the priorities and activities for the final two years of the current investment period, which runs until March 2026. Public good has remained at the core of our work, and this year’s report highlights the potential of recent developments to improve people’s lives.
