New research from the Better Outcomes from Linked Data (BOLD) team in Wales reveals that people in substance misuse treatment who experience homelessness face severe health inequalities, including higher hospital admissions, longer stays, and increased mental health diagnoses.

The ADR Wales Skills and Employability research team has presented key findings on equality within tertiary education in Wales, at an event hosted by the Wales Centre for Public Policy at Cardiff University. This research, led by ADR Wales researchers Dr Katy Huxley and Rhys Davies, is part of a project commissioned by the Welsh Government to inform the Commission for Tertiary Education and Research (Medr).

ADR Wales has released a new Data Insight highlighting significant socioeconomic disparities in severe Covid-19 outcomes across Wales. The study, part of the ADR Wales Major Societal Challenges programme, used linked data analysis to explore how factors such as underlying health conditions and demographics influenced hospitalisations, critical care admissions, and deaths during the pandemic's first two years.
