Today, Cancer Research UK, the National Institute for Health and Care Research (NIHR) and the Engineering and Physical Sciences Research Council (EPSRC) are announcing £10 million to create the Cancer Data-Driven Detection programme. This is open to PhD students studying social care at a Welsh higher education institution, providing practical experience in real-world social care research. Social Care Wales is a Welsh Government-sponsored body which registers and sets standards for social workers and social care workers in Wales.
