We are delighted to announce that the ECHILD – England dataset is now available for accredited researchers to apply to access via the Office for National Statistics (ONS) Secure Research Service. ECHILD stands for Education and Child Health Insights from Linked Data. The dataset can be used to answer policy-relevant research questions around the relationship between education and children’s health.

The Longitudinal Education Outcomes (LEO) dataset provides policy-relevant insight on the educational pathways and labour market outcomes of members of the British public. In this blog, Dr Claire Crawford explores how new data linkages are expanding LEO’s potential. Claire leads an ADR England-funded project working in partnership with the Department for Education to support the development of the LEO data.
