The Annual Survey of Hours and Earnings (ASHE) linked to Migrant Workers Scan – England, Scotland and Wales dataset offers unique insights into the experiences of migrant workers in the UK labour market. Her project looks at earnings in the context of her previous research on social mobility, precarity and multiple jobholding in creative careers, as well as classed, gendered and racialised inequalities in getting into – and getting on in – creative work. Orian is a Chancellor’s Fellow in Social Policy at the University of Edinburgh.
