Funding opportunity coming soon: 20 PhDs using linked administrative data
Categories: Funding opportunities, Research using linked data
28 June 2022
ADR UK will soon announce new funding for ESRC Doctoral Training Partnerships to host PhD studentships focused on quantitative research using linked administrative data. Funding will be available for up to 20 PhD studentships located anywhere in the UK which will start in Autumn 2023.
We will invite Doctoral Training Partnerships to apply for funding to host up to four supervisor-led PhD studentships each, through a supervisor-led competition that will run from early September 2022 to the end of October 2022. The successful candidates will join a pilot programme to develop exemplar PhD case studies to promote wider use of administrative data for research.
These PhDs will have the potential to generate research leading to better informed policy decisions and more effective public services, in areas from improving education and healthcare to tackling crime.
