Data Insight: The association between unpaid caring and employment and earnings in Northern Ireland
This project aimed to provide the most comprehensive sociodemographic description of unpaid carers in Northern Ireland. It explores how caring is related to a broad range of aspects associated with employment, income and earnings.
Data Insight: Using the Earnings and Employees Study 2011 to estimate Catholic-Protestant wage differentials
The Earnings and Employees Study (EES) 2011 links wage and employment data from the Annual Survey of Hours and Earnings (ASHE) for 2011 with detailed individual and household characteristics information, including religious denomination and community background, from the 2011 Census. Analysing this linked data, we find no evidence of either a Catholic wage penalty or premium in 2011, with estimated wage gaps small in magnitude and statistically insignificant in unadjusted and adjusted models.
Data Insight: Are farm households different? Some evidence from Wales
This Data Insight presents data on the structure of farming households in Wales and compares them to other non-farming rural households. The work was carried out by the AD|ARC (Administrative Data | Agricultural Research Collection) team, an ADR UK- funded project.
Data Insight: European Union Settled Status (EUSS) Data Linkage Project (Wales): Preliminary findings for education
This Data Insight provides a preliminary analysis on education data relating to children born in the EU living in Wales and children born in Wales living in Wales, which details their attendance and attainment at school.

This Data Insight examined differences between female and male teaching staff at different career stages using the School Workforce Annual Census (SWAC).
Ethnic inequalities in the criminal justice system
This data comic explores the findings of research led by Dr Kitty Lymperopoulou, which examines the main factors associated with remand and sentencing outcomes and the independent effect of ethnicity on those outcomes. Kitty is an ADR UK Research Fellow using data made available through the Ministry of Justice Data First programme.

This Data Insight examines ethnicity and gender differences in the number of non-custodial and suspended sentences a person receives prior to receiving a short sentence of immediate custody.
