Data Insight: Clinical coding and capture of Long COVID: a cohort study in Wales using linked health and demographic data

This Data Insight looks at clinical coding of Long COVID recorded in primary and secondary care to aid understanding of coding quality, the variation of use in primary care software systems and the completeness and usability of data. It provides a comprehensive characterisation of patients clinically diagnosed with Long COVID, with the aim of building a deeper understanding of this relatively new condition.
Carried out by the ADR Wales Major Societal Challenges research team as part of the ADR Wales programme of work, it presents a snapshot of research undertaken and a current overview of the availability and capture of data.
