In 2024, Ash Salem, at the time Administrative Data Research Centre Northern Ireland Research Assistant and member of the Data Research Advisory Group , produced this guide containing handy dos and don’ts for researchers looking to co-produce data research with experts by experience.
Gestational age at birth, chronic conditions, and school outcomes: Young person's version of a research paper
In 2024, Sara Duru, at the time ADR England intern, worked with the Education and Child Health Insights from Linked Data (ECHILD) team (who produced the original research) to create a young person’s summary of a research project looking at academic outcomes and special education needs across gestational age, for children born with and without chronic health conditions.
The mental health of all children in contact with social services: Young person's version of a research paper
In 2023, Rhianna Brown, at the time Research and Communications Intern at Administrative Data Research Centre Northern Ireland (ADRC NI) created a young person’s summary of a research project looking at the mental health of children in Northern Ireland and their contact with social services
ADR UK at a glance: Coming soon
This prototype document is not yet published but will shortly be available online. Produced by ADR UK, this document aims to act as an easy-to-understand entrance point to the ADR UK programme as well as how administrative data is used in research. The document was also brought to the ADR England Public Insights Panel in July 2026, who provided invaluable feedback in shaping its content and formatting for public audiences. Please keep an eye on our website for its release.
