18/06/2024
Categories: Research using linked data, Events, Datasets, ADR UK Partnership, Crime & justice, Health & wellbeing
This is an in-person workshop delivered by the South East Network for Social Sciences (SeNSS) Doctoral Training Partnership (DTP) and ADR UK. The sessions will introduce academics and students to ADR UK’s work and highlight the linked administrative datasets available for research. They will also inform researchers about how they can access these datasets, the research potential of the data, and what other resources are available to support their use.
This event is free and open to everyone. Closing date and time for registration is 16:00 on 11 June.
Who should attend?
This workshop is open a wide range of researchers, including doctoral researchers, early career researchers, and supervisors.
Specifically, this workshop should be of interest to:
-
researchers who have (or would like to develop) an interest in secondary data analysis
-
researchers looking to explore new research areas.
We strongly encourage participation by early career researchers and PhD students.
Activities
Presenters will provide an overview of ADR UK, showcasing administrative data available for research, along with other datasets, and providing guidance on accessing the data. Academics and data owners will then highlight the datasets and projects they lead, relating to two of SeNSS’s thematic areas:
-
Justice, Institutions and Social Change
-
Health, Wellbeing and Social Care
The workshop will finish with an interactive carousel session, which will provide the opportunity for attendees to network and pose questions directly to data owners and researchers.
