New opportunity at ADR UK: Communications Managers
Categories: Jobs, ADR UK Partnership
1 April 2026
New exciting opportunities now live for two Communications Managers (closing date Monday 27 April 2026) to support and deliver a wide range of communications activity across one of UKRI’s most important investments in research infrastructure.
About ADR UK and the role
ADR UK (Administrative Data Research UK) is a partnership transforming the way researchers access the UK’s wealth of public sector data, enabling better informed policy decisions that improve people’s lives. Funded by the Economic and Social Research Council (ESRC), part of UK Research and Innovation (UKRI), the programme is now progressing into a new investment period, with a growing focus on policy impact.
By linking together data held by different parts of government, and by facilitating safe and secure access for accredited researchers, ADR UK is creating a sustainable body of knowledge about how our society and economy function. The resulting datasets help decision makers address pressing policy challenges.
The partnership is coordinated by a UK-wide Strategic Hub, where these roles will be based. The Strategic Hub promotes the value of administrative data research to the public and research community, engages with government to secure data access, and manages a dedicated research budget.
You will join an established and growing Communications and Engagement team with strategic oversight of ADR UK’s full communications portfolio. This includes digital channels (website, social media and audio-visual), publications, events, media relations, and stakeholder and public engagement. The team also supports ADR England-funded projects and grant holders.
Reporting to the Senior Communications/Content & Engagement Managers, you will play a key role in coordinating and supporting the delivery of a wide range of communications workstreams and projects. There will also be opportunities to lead projects end-to-end and to contribute new and innovative ideas to strengthen ADR UK’s communications function.
These are exciting opportunities for communications professionals looking to develop their skills in a fast-paced, collaborative and supportive environment.
