12 March 2026
Applications are now open for a fully funded PhD studentship on disability and school-to-work transitions in Scotland, supported by ADR Scotland. Based at the University of Glasgow within the Division of Urban Studies and Social Policy, this project will use linked administrative data to explore how education-to-employment pathways and labour market outcomes differ for people with disabilities.
Working with an interdisciplinary supervisory team, the successful applicant will develop advanced quantitative research skills and contribute to policy-relevant insights on employment transitions, earnings trajectories and inequalities across different impairment groups. The studentship offers access to ADR Scotland’s rich data infrastructure, training opportunities and wider research community.
The studentship starts in October 2026 and is open to home applicants only. The application deadline is 30 April 2026.
