PhD placement opportunity with Social Care Wales

As part of leading the ADR Wales Social Care programme, Social Care Wales is now offering a PhD placement opportunity. This is open to PhD students studying social care at a Welsh higher education institution, providing practical experience in real-world social care research. Social Care Wales is a Welsh Government-sponsored body which registers and sets standards for social workers and social care workers in Wales.
The scheme aims to support future social care researchers, enhance the quality of research, and make findings accessible to social care professionals in Wales. Successful applicants will gain valuable experience in policy development, data research, and networking with academics and policymakers.
The placement can be full-time for three months or part-time for six months and comes with a fixed monthly payment of £1,855 (pro-rata for part-time students).
