In this blog, Hannah Hodge Waller, of the Office for National Statistics Secure Research Service introduces and discusses the process of creating and contributing code to a new managed code repository within the SRS. She interviews Dr Van Phan about how her team’s code was used as part of the pilot on using this repository. Hannah was the Senior Statistical Code Sharing Manager for the SRS, and Van is a researcher for the ADR-supported Wage and Employment Dynamics project.

The Office for National Statistics has stated it will increase the length of the Integrated Data Service (IDS) transition period and expand the IDS analytical tooling offer. This news follows a period of user engagement that included discussions with and user testing by researchers as well as a showcase event.

[NOW CLOSED] ADR UK is inviting applications for funding to conduct policy-relevant research using ADR England flagship datasets. Research fellows will address priority research questions, generate insights and demonstrate the value of ADR England data. These datasets are held securely within the Office for National Statistics (ONS) Secure Research Service or other trusted research environments.
Accredited researchers can apply to use a new de-identified dataset sharing information from the civil justice system in England and Wales. The dataset contains information about all civil cases heard in the County Court, and property repossession claims submitted through the Possession Claim Online portal.
