The Public Engagement in Data Research Initiative (PEDRI) has launched a pilot campaign to raise awareness of the public benefits of data research. ‘Your Data in Action’ will share information with new families about how research using public data can make a difference to their lives, and those of their children. [NOW CLOSED] ADR UK and the Economic and Social Research Council (ESRC) are inviting applications from individuals or teams to explore the use and potential of synthetic data. The grant holder will evaluate the use of low-fidelity synthetic versions of datasets held securely within UK trusted research environments.

Applications will soon open for a single grant of up to £375,000 (full economic cost) to explore the use and potential of synthetic data. This funding opportunity is a joint initiative from the Economic and Social Research Council’s Data & Infrastructure Programme and ADR UK.
